shoes

i've just found these chloé-inspired gladiator-style sandals on hungarian online auction website, vatera.hu. i think i'd go for the camel colored pair...
well, the problem is that i like them a lot, but not sure about buying them...i'm afraid this style will be very popular this summer and worn by everyone...what do you think?

  1. Szerintem a Deichmannban van hasonló, tehát mindenkin ilyen lesz. Amit én utálok, ezért inkább turikban vásárolok.

  5. i think its kind of out of date, if u have it at zara or mango or hm than thats pretty much it..u dont need the brains to look "cool " for that..i think u r considered well dressed when u wear things that are out with the catwalk shows..not in a year time

  6. anonymous@11:35: yeah i've seen them in zara too, but their quality seemed so bad, they seemed like something even i could make with some tools in an hour...

anonymous@11:37: these 'ankle-wrapping' sandals could be seen before, yes, but i saw this particular style first at the chloé show last october, and that is the spring-summer 2010 collection...and ss '10 is right now. the fall winter 10-11 collections may be the latest fashion, but i'm not gonna wear beige capes and shearling coats in the middle of summer...

and as for being well-dressed: i think that 'when you wear things that are out with the catwalk shows' you are considered fashionable. for me, being well-dressed is something else :)
thank you guys for the comments!

  7. i think u misunderstood me:) just saying that i see people trying out things that are "over" with the big fashion desginers, because its usually half a year/year until they get to the mass retailers like h&m ,zara..and im not talking about basic things but same with these shoes they are everywhere, too much:)
btw i i think i bought shoes at zara 2 times, one pair i cant wear at all totally uncomfortable, the other pair was kinda ok..but zara isnt a shoe maker brand so no surprise :) it just sucks, i love those pumps:(

  8. oh...ok, now i get what you mean:)
and i don't like the shoes at zara either, i mean their design is so cool but they literally fall apart in no time :S maybe if they employed pros instead of chinese 10-yr-olds... hmm but then they'd be much more expensive...ok lets not get into this :)
    xx
